Hello Ditmar,

Herzlich wilkommen auf diesem site über das 504th US Fallschirmjäger Regiment. Welcome on this forums about the 504th PIR. The factory was the objective for the 1st platoon of A Company, but is was too big a target for just a platoon of 45 officers and men. Kiernan pulled his platoon back to the town center late on the evening of April 6, as the German counterattack increased.
